Soak up summer!
We’re in the thick of summer; there’s still five weeks till Labor Day and almost eight weeks till fall!
Enjoy the warm weather, long days, and slower pace of life. Be like Frederick, the mouse in Leo Leonni’s Caldecott-honored story, and gather up colors, fragrances, and joyful memories that you can dip into when you’re feeling low. Summer is the season to indulge your inner child!
- Run through a sprinkler
- Eat plenty of ice cream
- Blow bubbles wth (or without) your kids
- Eat al fresco as often as possible
- Catch fireflies
- Cheer on a minor-league baseball team
- Go fishing
- Spend at least one day being mesmerized by ocean waves
- Visit parks and playgrounds
- Camp under the stars – and wish upon one
Take time to relax this summer and you will enjoy both mental and physical benefits. If you’re struggling to experience joy this summer, contact NewBridge Services today at (973) 316-9333 or email us at services@NewBridge.org. You can also visit newbridge.org.
