Suicide Survivor Shares His Story for Suicide Prevention Month

Day 1:

A Suicide Survivor’s story, Day 2:

In his sophomore year of college, Kyle began to dabble in drug use, leading to bouts of depression. Friendships and grades suffered. and he lost his spot on the wrestling team. “Every aspect of my life pretty much started to fall apart before my eyes,” he said.

Kyle describes having “a full-on mental breakdown” the night he attempted to end his life, and the devastating aftermath. “I so no other way out of that situation,” he says. “I couldn’t even comprehend the amount of pain I was about to unleash.” Click to listen.
