NewBridge brings balance to people’s lives through
counseling, housing and education.

NewBridge will be valued by the community
as the preferred trusted partner in strengthening
individual and family lives.

Counseling Services

We’re all human, and when life offers up the kind of obstacles or setbacks that make us behave like we’re not ourselves, we can feel most alone. Anxiety, depression, stress, and uncontrolled anger are more than just “everyday” problems, and when left unaddressed can cause lasting harm to ourselves and people around us.

Addiction Services

When you take that first step to connect with the NewBridge network, you’ll work with our professional staff toward a common goal: a healthier, happier life. We offer a comprehensive program for the treatment of substance abuse and addictions — including evaluation, psycho-educational groups, counseling and referrals.

Youth Services

NewBridge offers a variety of life-enriching educational and counseling programs for preschool-aged children through young adults that empower them to make the right decisions in life, in areas such as: resolving conflict, developing life skills, stress management, healthy living, career counseling, and State of New Jersey High School Diploma preparation and job placement.

Our Impact

“NewBridge Services, Inc. has been bringing balance to people’s lives since 1963. The community nonprofit serves more than 8,000 children, adults and seniors a year through counseling, housing, and education. “

Our Amazing Clients

Meet  Favio Jasso, one of Our Amazing Clients at NewBridge

Favio Jasso neglected his health, schooling and personal hygiene as he struggled with depression in 2021. School sports, once a welcome distraction, had ceased to be an outlet when the pandemic began, and his feelings of isolation grew. Then his family lost their home to financial troubles. Jasso slept on a mattress in his grandmother’s attic and often missed school.

“I experienced depression paralysis. I just stopped taking care of myself,” the 18-year-old said.

After failing two 10th grade classes, Jasso left high school. But in August 2021, he enrolled in NewBridge Jobs Plus, NewBridge Services’ alternative education and career program, and he began to turn his life around. “There’s a strong sense of community there,” he said. NewBridge Jobs Plus provided Jasso counseling and academic support, and other assistance.
