End 2020 on a High Note: Invest in Your Community Nonprofit

Tuesday, December 29, 2020

Michelle Borden, NewBridge CEO, describes NewBridge staff on the front lines of COVID-19Dear Friend,

As we bid adieu to 2020, we at NewBridge Services move forward with optimism, passion and, of course, compassion. If you’re making end-of-year donations to causes you care about, please invest in  NewBridge. Throughout the pandemic, we have used our expertise in crisis management to ensure clients receive seamless access to treatment. Here is a sampling of our efforts:

  • We quickly transitioned to telehealth counseling sessions when the statewide shutdown took effect. While in-person care is best, telehealth has proven a valuable alternative for homebound clients.
  • Staff continues to ensure vulnerable clients have food and medicine, and a friendly ear to listen to their concerns.
  • We launched a virtual program, Seniors in Motion, to keep older adults physically and socially active.
  • Our alternative education and career program went virtual during the shutdown, and we then brought students back with extensive health precautions in place.

When you invest in NewBridge, great things happen. Please make a secure, tax-deductible donation online now at newbridge.org/donate. The IRS announced that a special 2020 tax law provision allows more people to easily deduct up to $300.

In gratitude,
