NewBridge Services Children and Family Services clinician W. Shawn Welty (MA, LPC, LCADC) has created this soothing guided imagery meditation for kids. This can help children — and adults — cope with anxiety over the COVID-19 crisis or other concerns. Enjoy the relaxation.
During the seven-minute meditation, Welty encourages kids to visit a magical sand castle, a safe place where they can shed their worries. It’s a place they can visit any time they want.
