The Countdown is On for Your 2020 Tax-Deductible Donation

Thursday, December 31, 2020

Please make a donation to NewBridge on Dec. 31!Dear Friend,

Before you belt out Auld Lang Syne at midnight, please make a tax-deductible donation to NewBridge Services. NewBridge has been healing individuals and strengthening communities since 1963. Know that your support transforms the lives of children, adults and seniors in need. Together, we are a powerful force for good in a world too often marked by sadness and strife.

Please take a few minutes now to make a donation at newbridge.org/donate. Whatever amount you can contribute is greatly appreciated. The IRS announced a special 2020 tax law provision that allows more people to easily deduct up to $300.

Throughout the pandemic, we have used our expertise in crisis management to ensure clients receive seamless access to treatment. Here is a sampling of our efforts:

  • We quickly transitioned to telehealth counseling sessions when the statewide shutdown took effect. While in-person care is best, telehealth has proven a valuable alternative for homebound clients.
  • Staff continues to ensure vulnerable clients have food and medicine, and a friendly ear to listen to their concerns.
  • We launched a virtual program, Seniors in Motion, to keep older adults physically and socially active.
  • Our alternative education and career program went virtual during the shutdown, and we then brought students back with extensive health precautions in place.

Thank you for partnering with NewBridge. Happy New Year!

With my deepest gratitude,
