NewBridge Services recognizes their leadership at March 31 Celebration

Boudreau is president of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce and has distinguished himself as a local business supporter with a history of helping nonprofits improve communities. Boudreau has served in leadership roles with several area nonprofits and spent part of his corporate career choosing charities that received funding from the Honeywell Foundation to build housing, keep children safe and teach math and science to middle schools, among other things.

Wessel has long advocated for seniors and others who need home care and the workers who care for them. For nearly 34 years, the licensed social worker has led HomeCare Options, a nationally accredited agency based in Paterson, and he has been instrumental in setting New Jersey’s standards for care at home.

Boudreau and Wessel will each receive NewBridge Services’ 2011 Helping People Move Forward award, which recognizes exemplary leadership in the public, private and nonprofit sectors. They will be honored March 31 at NewBridge’s annual celebration and fundraiser, The Magic of NewBridge, at The Villa at Mountain Lakes. The third recipient is Mario Cardinale, an educator for more than 30 years and the superintendent of the Butler Public Schools.

Reservations are still available for the celebration, which begins at 6 p.m. and features hors d’oeuvres in abundance, cocktails, an outrageous dessert buffet and a silent auction. This year’s sponsors include Wyndham Worldwide, PSE&G, the Somerset Hills YMCA and the Boiling Springs Savings Bank. Admission is $125 per person.

Proceeds from The Magic of NewBridge will help support NewBridge’s vital community programs. For support opportunities or reservations, contact NewBridge Director of Development Nina McCormack at 973-839-2521, ext. 2246.
